it is with sadness that we have come to the decision to cease operations and disestablish the Low Country Hub effective 31 December 2015.

Honor Flight Lowcountry would like to express our heartfelt, grateful appreciation to all who have participated and have supported our program over the past years.

We have been able to provide over 750 Veterans from the Low Country and across the state, the opportunity to visit their respective memorials in Washington DC, mostly to those who would not normally have that opportunity. The entire purpose of Honor Flight was to ensure those World War II Veterans were presented the opportunity to behold the Memorial dedicated to them, which wasn’t completed until 2004. We opened the trip up to Korean War Veterans 2 years ago, and it was met with most favorable results. However, with the advanced pace of Veterans passing, it is with sadness that we have come to the decision to cease operations and disestablish the Low Country Hub effective 31 December 2015. Again, we thank all of you, for giving us the opportunity to provide this labor of love!

It has been our privilege to escort WWII veterans to Washington, DC since 2009!
